New Delhi: India registered 8,774 fresh Covid cases and 621 fatalities in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said today.
With this, the cumulative death toll across the country has reached 4,68,554 while the country’s active cases now stand at 1,05,691, the lowest in 543 days.
Around 9,481 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative tally of recovered patients to 3,39,98,278.
The vaccination figure has reached 1,21,94,71,134 across the country with inoculating 82,86,058 beneficiaries in the last 24 hours, the ministry said.
Yesterday, the country reported 8,318 fresh Covid cases and 465 fatalities in the last 24 hours.
During the previous 24 hours, 10,549 new cases and 488 deaths were reported from across the country.
A day prior to that, 9,119 fresh COVID-19 cases and 396 fatalities were reported in 24 hours.
On Wednesday, the country reported 9,283 fresh Covid cases in 24 hours.
Nearly 7,579 fresh Covid cases and 236 fatalities were reported from across the country on Tuesday.
The country registered 8,488 fresh Covid cases and 249 deaths in 24 hours, a day earlier.
