New Delhi: Altogether 37,379 fresh COVID cases were registered in India in the last 24 hours, up from 33,750 reported in the previous 24 hours.
According to the Union Health Ministry data released today, 124 deaths were also registered in the last 24 hours.
The daily positivity rate has gone up to 3.24% and the active cases stood at 1,71,830.
The total death toll due to Covid, since it erupted in 2020, has reached 4,82,017.
Yesterday, 33,750 new single day cases were reported to have been registered in the previous 24 hours.
