New Delhi: Fresh single day Covid cases in India shot up to 90,928 during the last 24 hours, against 58,097 recorded during the previous same period.
The country also reported 325 deaths in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said today.
The daily positivity rate stood at 6.43% as the active cases were 2,85,401.
The cumulative death toll due to Covid since the pandemic outbreak has reached 4,82,876.
Yesterday, the country reported 58,097 new cases along with 534 deaths during the previous 24 hours.
A day earlier, 37,379 fresh COVID cases were reported in 24 hours.
On Monday, 33,750 cases were reported in the preceding 24 hours.
