Quetta: A group of Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) fighters, who stormed the headquarters of Pakistan’s Frontier Corps in Panjgur area of Balochistan at 8 PM on February 2, continue to hold ground at the campus despite the Pakistani forces using all means, including aerial bombardment, the outfit said a few minutes back.
The BLA, in its latest statement, said the freedom fighters were displaying “exemplary resistance” and foiling all attempts by the Pakistani forces to clear the FC campus of them.
The rebels have killed at least 80 security personnel in Panjgur while losing 4 fidayeen (suicide attackers) have lost their lives so far, BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch said.
While the Pakistani establishment and media have blacked out coverage of this huge and unprecedented attack on the occupying military, the details of the incident are being shared by BLA itself.
“BLA Majeed Brigade continues to control FC Panjgur camp on the third day. In last 66 hours the Baloch fidayees have repulsed each and every attempt of occupying forces,” BLA spokesperson Baloch said.
“Earlier today, Pakistani forces with heavy aerial support, targeted the camp. However, the exemplary resistance by Baloch fidayees failed the Pakistani attempt and inflicted heavy losses on the enemy,” he said.

“So far in Panjgur four fidayeen have embraced martyrdom and more than 80 enemy personnel have been eliminated,” the BLA spokesperson said, adding more details will be shared soon.
