New Delhi: India registered 30,615 fresh Covid cases and 514 fatalities in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said today.
With this, the cumulative death toll due to the Covid pandemic has reached 5,09,872.
The active cases stand at 0.87%, taking the cumulative toll to 3,70,240.
The country’s daily positivity rate is at 2.45% and the Weekly Positivity Rate stands at 3.32%.
Nearly 82,988 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative recoveries to 4,18,43,446, the Ministry said.
Yesterday, the country registered 27,409 fresh Covid cases and 347 fatalities in 24 hours.
A day earlier, 34,113 new cases were recorded across the country in 24 hours.
On Sunday morning, the government reported 44,877 new cases and 684 deaths in
preceding 24 hours.
A day prior to that, the country registered 50,407 new Covid cases and 804 fatalities in 24 hours on Saturday.
On Friday morning, the country registered 58,077 new Covid cases in 24 hours.
