New Delhi: India registered 15,102 fresh Covid cases and 278 fatalities in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said today.
With this, the cumulative death toll due to the Covid pandemic has reached 5,12,622.
The active cases stood at 1,64,522 and the daily positivity rate is at 0.38%.
Nearly 31,377 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative recoveries to 4,21,89,887, the Ministry said.
Yesterday, 13,405 new cases were recorded in 24 hours.
A day prior to that, the country registered 16,051 new Covid cases and 206 fatalities in 24 hours.
On Sunday morning, the country registered 19,968 fresh Covid cases and 673 fatalities in m 24 hours.
A day earlier, the government reported 22,270 fresh Covid cases and 325 fatalities in 24 hours.
Nearly, 25,920 new cases were recorded across the country during the preceding 24hours.
