New Delhi: India registered 1,660 fresh Covid cases and 4,100 fatalities in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said today.
With this, the cumulative death toll due to the Covid pandemic has reached 5,20,855.
The country’s active caseload has declined to 16,741 constituting 0.04% of the total positive cases.
Nearly 2,349 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative recoveries to 4,24,80,436, it said.
The country’s daily positivity rate now stands at 0.25% and weekly positivity rate at 0.29%
Nearly 182.87 crore vaccine doses have been administered so far across the country.
