New Delhi: The single-day Covid cases in India dipped further, with 1,421 fresh cases being registered in the last 24 hours, against 1,660 cases registered the previous day.
The country registered 149 fatalities taking the cumulative death toll to 5,21,004, the Union Health Ministry said today.
The country’s active caseload has declined to 16,187 constituting 0.04% of the total positive cases.
Nearly 1,826 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative recoveries to 4,24,82,262, it said.
The country’s daily positivity rate now stands at 0.23% and weekly positivity rate at 0.27%
Nearly 183.20 crore vaccine doses have been administered so far across the country.
