New Delhi: A large number of differently abled youth were shortlisted for over 200 jobs in 16 leading companies at a job fair in Delhi.
The Fair was organised by National Career Service Centre for Differently Abled functioning under Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India.
Job Fair was held at Karkardooma premises of NCSC for Differently Abled this Friday in collaboration with Dr Reddy Foundation as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Celebrations, a press release said.
The Fair saw participation of over 200 differently abled job seekers, highest number of participants in job fairs organised so far by the same organization since Corona outbreak and lockdowns.
A Divyang Camp follows this Fair at Dehradun’s Aggarwal Dharmshala at Gandhi Road on 6-7 May wherein physical aids such as artificial limbs, feet , callipers, crutches etc would be distributed amongst over 1000 Divyangs as also counselling and skill training for employment opportunities available to them.
The camp is being organised by Harshal Foundation Dehradun and NCSC for DA, Dehradun.
