New Delhi (NVI): A MiG 29 K trainer aircraft of the Indian Navy, which was on a training mission, crashed shortly after taking off in Goa. Both the pilots ejected safely, officials said.
According to officials, the aircraft crashed after taking off from INS Hansa at Dabolim in Goa. Both pilots, Captain M Sheokhand and Lt Cdr Deepak Yadav ejected safely.
“During a training mission, after take off from INS HANSA at Dabolim a Mig 29k trainer aircraft suffered an engine fire. The pilots Capt M Sheokhand and Lt Cdr Deepak Yadav ejected safely,” The Indian Navy also tweeted.
