New Delhi: India registered 2,927 fresh Covid cases and 32 fatalities in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said today.
With this, the cumulative death toll across the country has reached 5,23,654 and the country’s active cases stand at 16,279.

Nearly 2,252 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative recoveries to 4,25,25,563, it said.
The country’s daily positivity rate now stands at 0.58% and weekly positivity rate at 0.59%.
Yesterday, the country registered 2,483 new Covid cases and 1399 fatalities in 24 hours.
On Monday morning, the country registered 2,541 fresh Covid cases and 30 fatalities in 24 hours.

A day before that, the country registered 2,593 fresh Covid cases and 44 fatalities in 24 hours.
The country registered 2,527 new cases a day before within 24 hours.
On Friday morning, the country registered 2,451 fresh Covid cases and 54 fatalities in 24 hours.
