New Delhi: India recorded 3,962 fresh Covid cases and 26 deaths in a span of 24 hours yesterday, the Health Ministry said today.
With this, the cumulative death toll across the country has reached 5,24,677.
The country’s active caseload currently stands at 22,416, the Ministry said.

Nearly 2,697 patients have been recovered in the last 24 hours, taking cumulative recoveries to 4,26,25,454, it said.
Yesterday, the country registered 4,041 cases and 10 fatalities in 24 hours.
A day prior to that, the country registered 3,712 new Covid cases in 24 hours.
On Wednesday last, the country registered 2,338 new Covid cases and 19 deaths in 24 hours.

The country registered 2,706 new cases in the last 24 hours, a day earlier.
A day prior to that, the country recorded 2,828 new Covid cases and 14 deaths in a span of 24 hours.
