New Delhi: India registered 8,084 fresh Covid cases and 10 deaths in the last 24 hours, Union Health Ministry said this morning.
The active caseload stood at 47,995.
With 10 more fatalities, the total death toll due to the pandemic since 2020 rose to 5,24,771.
Nearly 4,592 patients have been recovered in the last 24 hours, taking cumulative recoveries to 4,26,57,335, it said.

Yesterday, the country reported 8,582 fresh Covid cases and 4 deaths in 24 hours.
The country reported 8,329 new cases during the preceding 24 hours.
At least 10 deaths due to Covid were also registered during that period.
On Friday, the government reported 7,584 fresh Covid cases and 24 deaths in a span of 24 hours.

On Thursday, the country reported 7,240 cases and 8 fatalities in 24 hours.
A day prior to that, the country registered 5,233 cases and 7 fatalities in 24 hours.
On Tuesday, the country recorded 3,714 fresh Covid cases and 7 deaths in 24 hours.
