Srinagar: An Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of CRPF was killed today as Pakistan-supported terrorists attacked a joint patrol party of security forces in Pulwama district of Kashmir.
The terrorists fired at the security party from an orchard and fled, the police said here.
“#Terrorists fired upon Naka party at Gangoo Crossing #Pulwama from nearby Apple orchard,” the police tweeted.
“In this #terror incident, 1 CRPF personnel ASI Vinod Kumar got seriously injured. He was shifted to hospital for treatment where he attained #martyrdom,” the tweet added.
The area has been cordoned off and a search launched to track down the attackers.
