Srinagar: Two terrorists of Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) outfit were killed today in an encounter in Kashmir, police said.
A civilian was also injured during the gunfight in Bomai area of Sopore in North Kashmir, police said.
“The killed 02 #terrorists were affiliated with JeM #terror outfit,” Kashmir Zone police tweeted quoting Additional DGP (Kashmir Zone) Vijay Kumar.
Both the terrorists were involved in several terror cases, he said.
“As per input, they were planning to attack civilians in Sopore area,” the ADGP said.

One of slain terrorists Mohd Rafi of Sopore was earlier booked under PSA twice, he said.
The civilian, who received injury during the encounter, has been shifted to Srinagar hospital where his condition is stated to be stable, the ADGP said.
