New Delhi: The Covid numbers in India remain on the lower side, with the country registering 5,910 new single-day cases along with 16 deaths during the past 24 hours yesterday.
According to the Union Health Ministry bulletin today, the active cases stood at 53,974, while 7,034 people recovered from the disease.
Yesterday, the government reported registration of 6,809 new cases and 26 deaths during the preceding 24 hours.
On Saturday, the Health Ministry said 7,219 fresh Covid cases were reported from across the country in the previous 24 hours.
On Friday last, the government reported registration of 6,168 fresh Covid cases in the preceding 24 hours.
