TTP: Pakistani Army post attacked, many killed or injured

Bannu: Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) tonight said it carried out an attack on a Pakistan Army post in Bannu Province of North Waziristan, killing and injuring many military personnel.

TTP spokesman Muhammad Khurasani said, in a statement to NVI, that all the Mujahideen who carried out the attack were safe.

The Mujahideen used light and heavy weapons, including snipers, in the attack, he said.

“At the time of Isha (night) today, Mujahideen of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) attacked an army post called “Chaga Morcha” in Nitsai Zarghar area of ​​Mir Ali Tehsil of Bannu Province, North Waziristan,” Khurasani said in a statement to News Vibes of India (NVI).

“Light and heavy weapons, including snipers, were used in the attack, as a result of which many military personnel were killed and injured,” the TTP spokesman said.

“The Mujahideen remained safe,” he added.
