Srinagar,Aug 05(NVI): The annual pilgrimage of the ‘Chhari Mubarak,’ the Holy Mase of Lord Shiva, was warmly received at the Sharika Bhavani Mandir at Hari Parbat in Srinagar.
This event marks a significant part of the annual Amarnath Yatra, where devotees gather to seek blessings and participate in the traditional rituals associated with the holy pilgrimage.
Upon its arrival at the Sharika Bhavani Mandir, Hari Parbat a traditional puja was performed to honor the sacred mace.
The puja is a crucial part of the pilgrimage, symbolizing devotion and reverence to Lord Shiva. The rituals were conducted with great enthusiasm, and devotees from across the region participated in the prayers, chanting hymns, and offering flowers and sweets to the deity.
The Chhari Mubarak represents the divine presence of Lord Shiva and plays a pivotal role in the Amarnath Yatra. It is traditionally carried by Mahant Deependra Giri, the custodian of the holy mase, and is accompanied by a group of sadhus and pilgrims.
The pilgrimage symbolizes the spiritual journey and devotion of the followers of Lord Shiva.
