Srinagar, Aug 06(NVI):- The Meteorological Department (MeT) J&K, on Tuesday predicted that there are chances of heavy rains in parts of J&K during the next 2 days.
Director Meteorological Department Mukhtar Ahmad said that from 6-7th August, there are chances of brief spells of rain/thundershower at few places during day time with spells of light to moderate rain/thundershower at many places of J&K towards late night/early morning.
He said that from 8-10th August, there are chances of brief showers during daytime with a spell of rain/thundershower at scattered places of mainly during late night/early morning.
He said that from 11-13th August, he said that there are chances of brief spell of Rain/thundershower at scattered places of Kashmir Division & fairly widespread places of Jammu Division.
In an advisory, MeT said that intense showers for a brief period with the possibility of flash floods/Landslides/Mudslides and shooting stones over vulnerable places of J&K and heavy rainfall at few places of J&K during next 2 days.(News Vibes of India)
