World Record set by 10K Young women by performing the largest Kashmiri folk dance in Baramulla

Baramulla, Aug 12(NVI) : District Administration Baramulla in partnership with Army’s Dagger Division of Chinar Corps and the Indrani Balan foundation organized ‘Kashur Riwaaj’ cultural festival in Baramulla.

This grand event was held at Prof. Showkat Ali Indoor Stadium,Baramulla in anticipation of the 78th Independence Day.

In a historic achievement, 10,000 young women from Baramulla set a world record by performing the largest Kashmiri folk dance ever at the ‘Kashur Riwaaj’ cultural festival.

The festival was aimed to celebrate Kashmir’s vibrant traditions through traditional dances, music, calligraphy, and other cultural activities, with the highlight being the mass performance of the Rouf dance, which established the new world record.

‘Kashur Riwaaj’ cultural festival was attended by officials of Police, Army & District administration.

Ahead of Independence Day on 15th August, no of cultural events and Tiranga rallies are held all over Kashmir. (News Vibes of India)
