Jammu, Aug 13 (NVI): In a vibrant celebration of India’s Independence Day, the 2 JK Girls Battalion NCC, in collaboration with the Army Public School (APS) Ratnuchak, organized a grand Tiranga Rally to honor the spirit of freedom.

The event was marked by the enthusiastic participation of cadets, students, and volunteers, who gathered to commemorate the nation’s hard-won independence with zeal and patriotism.

The rally was ceremoniously flagged off by the esteemed Principal, ANO, and teachers of APS Ratnuchak. With a strong sense of national pride, the NCC cadets and students began their march from APS Ratnuchak Chowk, traversing the cantonment area. The event was not just a display of patriotism but also an expression of unity and collective spirit.

In the lead-up to the rally, a poster-making session was held, where students showcased their creativity and love for the nation.

These vibrant posters, reflecting themes of freedom, unity, and pride, were carried by the participants during the march, adding a visual splendor to the event. The handcrafted posters highlighted the aspirations and dreams of young India, reinforcing the message of unity and national pride.

As the rally progressed, the streets echoed with chants of “Vande Mataram,” and the tricolor fluttered proudly in the hands of the participants. The sight of the national flag, coupled with the spirited slogans, created an atmosphere of patriotism and pride. This grand rally served as a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by countless individuals for the country’s freedom.

Lt Col Suneel Bartwal, PRO & Spokesperson of the Ministry of Defence, Jammu, expressed his appreciation for the event, stating, “The Tiranga Rally is a testament to the enduring spirit of our nation. It is heartening to see young cadets and students participating with such enthusiasm and dedication, honoring the legacy of our freedom fighters.”

The rally concluded with a sense of accomplishment and a renewed commitment to uphold the values of freedom and unity.
