Srinagar, Aug 14 (NVI):- Govind Mohan is set to replace Ajay Kumar Bhalla as Home Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet headed by Prime Minister has approved the appointment of Shri Govind Mohan, IAS (SK:89), Secretary, Ministry of Culture as Officer on Special Duty in the Ministry of Home Affairs with immediate effect.
He will succeed Ajay Kumar Bhalla (IAS: 1984: AM) on completion of his extended tenure on 22.08.2024.
