Srinagar, Aug 15 (NVI):- Jammu and Kashmir’s Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, during his address on Independence Day, reaffirmed the resilience and patriotism of the people of Jammu, emphasizing that they have never supported terrorism.

LG expressed confidence that the citizens will continue to reject and defeat any fresh designs of terror in the region.

The Lieutenant Governor highlighted the efforts of the J&K administration in ensuring financial justice and transparency in governance.

He noted that the administration has been successful in providing justice to marginalized communities, including Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), backward classes, and Kashmiri Pandits (KPs).

He reiterated the government’s commitment to achieving new heights in peace, prosperity, and development across Jammu and Kashmir.

LG Sinha mentioned that consumers in J&K can benefit from the Power Amnesty scheme until March 2025. He also assured that there has been no hike in power tariffs over the last two years, reflecting the government’s commitment to easing the financial burden on the public.

As the region continues to progress towards a peaceful and developed future, the administration remains focused on upholding justice and transparency, while simultaneously countering any threats to the safety and security of its people.(News Vibes of India)
