Srinagar, Sep 25 (NVI): In the interest of the administration and pursuant to the approval conveyed by the Election Commission of India (ECI), Jammu and Kashmir’s Home Department today ordered the posting of Shobhit Saxena, a senior IPS officer as Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kathua district of Jammu Division.
An order issued by the Home Department, a copy of which is with the NVI, read that in the interest of administration and pursuant to the approval conveyed by the Election Commission of India, Shri Shobhit Saxena, IPS, SSP (Hqrs) CID, is hereby transferred and posted as Senior Superintendent of Police, Kathua vice Ms. Deepika, IPS, who shall await further posting in Police Headquarters.
The order has been issued by Chanderaker Bharti, Principal Secretary to the Government. Saxena’s new posting comes at a time when J&K is witnessing second phase of Assembly elections. (News Vibes of India)
