J&K Police File FIR for Provocative Online Post

Ramban, Oct 09 (NVI): Jammu and Kashmir Police have taken cognizance of an individual accused of posting objectionable content on social media platforms.

“Acting promptly under the guidance of SSP Ramban Kulbir Singh, an FIR under No. 129/2024 has been registered at Police Station, Batote under relevant sections of the law,” a Police spokesperson said in a statement.

SSP Ramban said that all social Media Plateforms are under constant watch and all posts/comments are being monitored very keenly by cyber cell of District Police Ramban.

“Strict actions will be taken against those who will post anything that is provocative and spread hatred,” he said.

“District Police Ramban appeals people to maintain harmony and desist from using social media platforms to spread hatred which might vitiate peaceful atmosphere of the district,” the statement added.—(News Vibes of india)
