Srinagar, Oct 17 (NVI): The Srinagar police have taken cognizance of an incident in which an individual did not stand up during the playing of the National Anthem.
The Srinagar Police in a post on ‘X’, said that a preliminary inquiry has been launched by a Senior Superintendent of Police (SP) under Section 173 (3) of the BNSS.
“Electronic evidence related to the incident is currently being analyzed as part of the investigation to determine the appropriate legal action,” it said.
“Police has taken cognizance of an incident where an individual did not stand up during the playing of the National Anthem. A preliminary Enquiry by an SP rank officer under section 173 (3) of the BNSS has been initiated, and electronic evidence is being analysed for further course of legal action,” the Police said.—(News Vibes of India)
