New Delhi (NVI): The air quality in Delhi remained in the “poor” category for the second day today, and will further deteriorate to the “very poor” category by the evening.
According to the forecast by System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research (SAFAR), the Air Quality Index (AQI) will stay in the lower end of the “very poor” category for three days till Thursday.
The PM2.5 in Dhirpur was recorded at 306 while it was 343 in Chandini Chowk area and Mathura Road it was 306. The National Capital will also not receive any showers today.
Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast strong surface winds during the day time for today and tomorrow.
On Sunday, after a brief respite, the air quality plunged into the “very poor” category.
