Baramulla, Nov 17(NVI): Security forces on Sunday arrested a terrorist associate on Janbazpora Binner Road in North Kashmir Baramulla district.
A top police officer told NVI that today, on Janbazpora Binner Road in Baramulla, a terrorist associate who had been missing for a week from Naganad DH Pora, Kulgam, was arrested. From his possession, an AK-47 rifle, a magazine, and other ammunition were recovered.
He was later identified as Showkat Ahmad, from Naganad DH Pora, Kulgam, and investigations have been launched.
Meanwhile, they added that the arrest is a significant step in curbing terror-related activities in the region.
