New Delhi (NVI): Delhi recorded the coldest day of the season as the temperature dipped below eight degrees Celsius, India Meteorological Department (IMD) said today.
According to IMD, observatories of Delhi, Palam and Safdarjung recorded the lowest minimum temperature of the season till now.
Safdarjung observatory recorded a minimum temperature of 7.9 degrees Celsius while the Palam observatory recorded a minimum temperature of 8.5 degrees Celsius.
While, the weatherman has forecast a partly cloudy sky with a minimum temperature settling at nine degree Celsius.
It has also predicted that the national capital may witness moderate fog on December 5.
Meanwhile, the air quality index (AQI) in the national capital also remained in the “very poor” category.
