J&K Govt orders reshuffle in Civil Administration, Transfers 19 Officers

Srinagar, Dec 09(NVI): The Jammu and Kashmir government today ordered a significant reshuffle in civil administration, transferring 19 officers to new positions.

The new appointments include Dr. Ghulam Nabi Itoo, previously Mission Director of Jal Jeevan Mission, who has been appointed Director of School Education, Kashmir. Syed Shahnawaz Bukhari has been appointed Joint Director of Information, Kashmir.

Other prominent changes involve Mehmood Ahmad Shah, who moves from Director of Handloom and Handicrafts to Managing Director of the Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation, and Mussarat-ul-Islam, who takes over as Director of Handloom and Handicrafts. Several other officials have been reassigned to key roles in departments such as Tourism, Housing, Urban Development, and Education, as well as in the J&K Special Tribunal and State Taxes.
