Srinagar, Dec 18 (NVI): Security forces in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district have recovered a large cache of arms, ammunition and narcotics in a successful operation in the Amrohi area of the Tangdhar sector.
According to a statement from the Army’s Srinagar based 15 Corps, a joint search operation was launched in the area following reliable intelligence inputs. During the operation, forces seized four pistols, six pistol magazines, 4 kg of narcotics and other war-like stores.
The Army reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring a “terror-free” Kashmir, stating, “Chinar (15) Corps remains steadfast in its efforts to maintain peace and security in the Valley.” (New Vibes of India)
