Peshawar, Mar 17 (NVI) Soon after announcing the ‘Spring Offensive’ codenamed ‘Al-Khandaq Operation’ against Pakistani military three days back, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) carried out dozens of attacks at the Pakistan Army and its affiliates from that day, killing and injuring scores of soldiers and destroying strategic assets.
The TTP issued a statement, enlisting a large number of attacks its fighters carried out in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province.
Taliban attacked the Dadi police station located in Noring district of Laki Marwat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, in which casualties were reported, it said.
Taliban attacked Jenakur police station and FC post in FR Peshawar Sherkira Hasan Khel area of Peshawar with rocket launcher, pica and Kalashnikov etc. in which casualties are reported, it siad.
The personnel of the Pakistan army ambushed the Taliban in Guluno area of Safi District, Mohmand Province and in the retaliatory action of the Taliban, 4 officials were killed and many were injured, said the statement issued by TTP spokesman Muhammad Khorasani.
In Khojri area of Kaki area of Bannu district, Taliban attacked a police post with a hand grenade in which there were reports of casualties and injuries.
In Ghoriwala area of Bannu district, Taliban attacked Ghoriwala police station with GLO hand grenade etc.
An officer was killed in a Taliban sniper attack on a post located in Arundu Khor area of Chitral.
Taliban also targeted the post through GL, in which there is a strong possibility of more casualties.
In Tadli village of Sada in Karam district, the Taliban blasted a military convoy and after that, the Taliban launched an ambush in which 6 military personnel were killed and 3 were injured, the statement said, adding more deaths are also likely.
Taliban attacked Tali check post in Dabori area of Orakzai province by sniper and GL in which three FC personnel were killed and many were injured.
Taliban also killed an army official by sniper attack in Sirkai Manzakai Sikka Sedi area of Sararogha district of South Waziristan province while security camera and dish antenna etc. were also destroyed.
Two officials were killed in an attack by the Taliban on the Khar post in Zarmilna district of South Waziristan province.
An army official was killed in a laser gun attack on an army post in Sarki Khel area of the same district.
Two officials were killed in Taliban sniper attacks on Andi, Wilma, Bangiwal and Sherzali Sar areas of Sararogha district of South Waziristan province while cameras were also destroyed.
One official was killed and one injured in a Taliban sniper attack in Noori Narai area of Badr district of South Waziristan province.
Two Pakistani military personnel were killed and one was injured in three separate sniper attacks by Taliban in Shaktoi Narai, Janata and Arin Khola areas of Shaktoi district of South Waziristan province, it said.
An FC official was killed in a Taliban sniper attack on Tirah Shalobar Tandi head post in Bara district of Khyber province.
The Taliban attacked the Shah Saleem Police Station in Takht Nusrat District of Kirkuk Province which continued for six hours in which two officers were killed and many were injured.

Police Head Constable Kifayatullah was injured after the Taliban attacked the vehicle of the SHO of Louis Sim police station in the district of Inayat Qila Bazar in the district of Bajaur.
The Taliban attacked the police team that came to ASP’s house in Wazir Kali village of Ghazni Khel district of Wilayat Laki Marwat, in which there is a strong possibility of loss of life and property.
The Taliban killed an army officer in a sniper attack in Marghiband area of Sararogha district of South Waziristan province.
