Peshawar, July 3 (NVI) Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) today said the Pakistani military is “hatching a conspiracy” to dislocate once again the Pashtun people from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under the pretext of launching “operations against the Mujahideen”, just days after the visit of Field Marshal Asim Munir to the US.
In view of this move, the TTP cadres have been instructed to avoid civilian habitations and target the Pakistani forces in open areas like the roads and in the military camps, its spokesman Muhammad Khorasani said.
“A conspiracy has been hatched by the Pakistani forces to once again deprive the Pashtun people of their homes, resources and minerals,” the TTP spokesman said in a statement.
“Under this conspiracy, the Pakistani forces have paved the way for the migration and nomadic life of the noble tribes in the name of operations against the Mujahideen,” he added.
He said this work has been expedited and intensified after the recent visit of Asim Munir to the US “so that the country’s resources and minerals can be used for personal interests to prolong their rule.”
Surprisingly, Khorasani said, “this time, the excuse has been made that since the Mujahideen are also targeting the army in the settlements, the civilian areas should be evacuated so that an independent operation can be carried out against the Mujahideen.”
In view of this and keeping in mind the public interest, “the leadership of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan has instructed the Mujahideen to make a 100% effort to blockade the anti-Islam and anti-people army of Pakistan in such a way that the people do not face any difficulties and the army is completely surrounded.
“For this, they should take control of the roads leading to the forts away from the population and target the oppressive army in open areas.”
He said the TTP cadres have been directed to “try to limit their movement by using mines, pay full attention to sniper operations, and avoid war in the population as much as possible so that the blood-thirsty establishment does not get an excuse to operate and evict the people from the area.”
On this occasion, the TTP again requested “our tribal and Pashtun people to stand up against the oppressive (Pakistan) army occupying the country’s resources” and “instead of being silently oppressed, unite for the sake of our honor, dignity and resources and block the path of the slave forces.
“Remember, when the people unite and stand up for their rights, no human force can defeat them! May Allah Almighty save our beloved homeland from slave armies and slave political families, Amen.” (NVI)
