Sepoy Goes Missing During River Crossing Training in J&K’s Sundarbani

Jammu, Mar 9 (NVI): A soldier of the Indian Army was reported missing during a river crossing training exercise in the general area of Sundarbani in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district on Monday.

According to officials told NVI that Sepoy Akshit Sharma went missing at around 12 pm while participating in the training activity.

Extensive search operations have been launched, with all available resources of the Indian Army and civil agencies pressed into service to trace the missing soldier.

Officials said efforts are underway to locate Sharma and further details are awaited.—(NVI)
