Srinagar, Mar 12 (NVI): Farooq Abdullah on Thursday said he has never harmed anyone and does not know the person who attacked him, while reacting to the assassination attempt.
Speaking to reporters, the National Conference president said that Amit Shah had called him last night to inquire about his well-being.
“He (Home Minister Amit Shah) called me last night and asked about my well-being. He informed me that the accused has been arrested and assured me that a proper investigation will be conducted and that they will let me know what exactly had happened,” Abdullah said.
Earlier, an attack was reported on the veteran leader, triggering concern across political circles, while authorities said the accused has been taken into custody and further investigation into the incident is underway—(NVI).
