Jammu, Mar 17 (NVI): A man was found dead with throat injuries under mysterious circumstances in Jammu Monday late night.
An official said that the deceased has been identified as Balvir Singh, a resident of Chatha Farm.
He was found lying in a pool of blood with serious throat injuries, allegedly inflicted by an unknown person using a sharp object. Police shifted the body to Government Medical College Jammu, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Police have registered FIR No. 66/2026 under Section 103 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita at Satwari Police Station, and further investigation into the incident has been taken up.(NVI)
