Jammu, Mar 29 (NVI): In a tragic incident, three boys drowned in the Tawi River near Sainik School Nagrota in Jammu last evening, officials said.
The drowning took place apparently after the trio slipped and fell into the river.
The boys have been identified as Bavish Koul, Aditya Pandit and Sonam Dutt, all residents of the Nagrota area, officials said.
All the three, residents of Jagti township, were of 15/16 years of age, according to the police.
Soon after the incident, teams from the local police and the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) reached the spot and launched a search operation to retrieve the bodies.(NVI)
