Srinagar, May 20 (NVI): Security forces on Wednesday recovered arms and ammunition during a joint search operation in a forest area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district, officials said.
Official sources that a joint team Security forces launched a search-and-destroy operation (SADO) in the Sahgund forest compartment area.
During the operation, the forces recovered one Chinese grenade, two UBGL rounds, 60 rounds of AKM ammunition and two AKM magazines, he said.
The operation concluded in the evening and further investigation is underway, he added.—(NVI)
