Mysterious Explosion Injures Four Army Personnel in Nowshera Rajouri Sector

Rajouri, June 16 (NVI) : Four Army personnel, including a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO), sustained injuries in a mysterious explosion in the Nowshera sector of Rajouri district on Tuesday.

According to sources, the incident occurred in the Kalal area near the Line of Control (LoC) while troops were on operational duty in a forward location. The exact cause of the explosion was not immediately known, and investigations are underway to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The injured personnel, comprising one JCO and three soldiers, were promptly evacuated from the site and shifted to a medical facility for treatment. Their condition is stated to be stable.

Security forces have intensified surveillance in the area, while officials are examining all possible angles behind the explosion. Further details are awaited.(NVI)
