Reasi, Aug 20 (NVI): Security forces on Thursday launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in remote areas of Pouni in Reasi district following reports of suspicious movement, officials said.
According to the officials, some locals spotted suspicious persons in the area and alerted the police.
Following the information, joint teams of the police, Army and Special Operations Group (SOG) launched a search operation in the suspected area and adjoining locations.
Security personnel are conducting searches to trace the suspected individuals and establish their identity and movements, they said.
