Ganderbal, August 22 (NVI) Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police Nalin Prabhat on Saturday reviewed the operational preparedness and security arrangements at Temporary Operating Bases (TOBs) in the Chattergul and Wangat areas of Ganderbal district, officials said.
Prabhat, accompanied by Inspector General of Police, Kashmir Zone, and Deputy Inspector General of Police, Central Kashmir Range, conducted a comprehensive assessment of the security situation and operational preparedness at the bases.
During the visit, the DGP took stock of the deployment and functioning of personnel stationed at the TOBs and reviewed their preparedness to respond effectively to emerging security challenges, officials said.
Senior police officers, including the SSP Ganderbal, were also present during the inspection.
The visit was part of the police leadership’s ongoing efforts to strengthen operational readiness and security capabilities in sensitive and strategically important areas of the district, officials said.(NVI)
