Sopore, Aug 24 (NVI): A joint search operation was conducted by SOG Sopore in coordination with 52 Rashtriya Rifles, CRPF 177 Battalion and CRPF 179 Battalion in Manzseer area of Sopore, officials said.
During the search operation, the joint forces recovered one AK-47 rifle, three magazines, 72 rounds of ammunition and four hand grenades, officials said.
The recovered arms and ammunition have been taken into custody as per procedure, while further investigation is underway to ascertain the source and circumstances surrounding the recovery.
