M.K. Sinha Takes Over As ADG CID J&K; Nitish Kumar Posted As ADG Armed

Srinagar, Aug 28 (NVI): Senior IPS officer M.K. Sinha on Friday took charge as the Additional Director General of Police (ADG), CID, Jammu and Kashmir, replacing Nitish Kumar, who has been transferred and posted as ADG Armed J&K.

Sinha, a 1996-batch IPS officer, was serving as ADG (Headquarters) at Police Headquarters, J&K, before taking over his new assignment.

Soon after assuming charge at the CID headquarters, Sinha chaired a meeting with senior officers and reviewed the functioning of the intelligence wing.

Nitish Kumar, a 1999-batch IPS officer, was serving as ADG CID and Director of the State Investigation Agency (SIA), J&K.

Senior officers at CID headquarters welcomed Sinha and assured him of their cooperation in carrying out his responsibilities. They also wished Kumar success in his new assignment as ADG Armed J&K.(NVI)
