Jammu, Sep 3 (NVI) A Pakistani national was apprehended by Border Security Force (BSF) personnel while allegedly attempting to cross the International Border in the Kanachak sector of Jammu, officials said on Thursday.
The man was spotted moving towards the Indian side from Pakistan, following which BSF personnel issued repeated warnings, officials said.
However, he allegedly ignored the warnings and continued moving forward, after which the troops overpowered and detained him.
The apprehended person is being questioned to ascertain the circumstances and motive behind his attempted crossing, officials said.—(KNO)
