Srinagar, Sep 4 (NVI) A terrorist was killed and an AK-series rifle along with war-like stores were recovered following an encounter in Ashdar Gali area of Budgam district on Friday, officials said.
The operation was launched jointly by the Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police and the CRPF after an encounter broke out in the area.
The slain terrorist’s identity and affiliation are being ascertained, they said.
The search operation is underway.—(NVI)
