Poonch, Sep 7 (NVI): Security forces on Monday launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) in several villages in the upper reaches of Surankote subdivision of Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district following reports of suspicious movement, officials said.
The operation was launched on the basis of credible inputs regarding the presence of suspicious movement in the area, they said.
Multiple operational teams have been deployed to carry out searches in the upper reaches of the subdivision, the officials said.
