New Delhi (NVI): Delhi again witnessed chill today as the minimum temperature dropped to 8.4 degrees celsius from 12.5 degree celsius recorded yesterday due to rain which lashed some parts of the national capital yesterday.
The maximum temperature today is expected to be around 15.0 degrees celsius, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The weatherman stated that the temperature is expected to dip further over the next three to four days.
Meanwhile, the overall air quality in the national capital today remained in the “poor” category.
According to System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research (SAFAR),the Air Quality Index (AQI) in the national capital stood at 211 which falls in the “poor” category.
The worst affected areas are Dhirpur, Delhi University, Chandni Chowk, Pusa, Lodhi Road, Mathura Road, IGI Terminal 3 and the neighbouring Noida.
