Srinagar, Oct 2 (NVI) : Jammu and Kashmir is likely to witness generally dry weather till October 5, followed by light rain and snowfall over higher reaches from October 6, the Meteorological Centre here said on Friday.
According to the weather forecast, partly to generally cloudy conditions with light rain, light snowfall over higher reaches, thunder and gusty winds are likely at a few places from October 6 to 8.
From October 9 to 10, generally cloudy weather with light to moderate rain and light snowfall over higher reaches is expected, accompanied by thunder and gusty winds at scattered to many places, the MeT said.
Partly cloudy weather is likely to prevail from October 11 to 14.
The MeT has advised farmers to continue harvesting apples, paddy and other crops and carry out farm-related operations accordingly.—(NVI)
