‘AAHAR 2021’ to kickstart in Delhi from April 6

New Delhi (NVI): The annual event of the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), ‘AAHAR 2021’ will be organized in Delhi from April 6 to 10, to experience the latest trend, tastes and technologies in food and hospitality sector.

The five-day International Food & Hospitality Fair is being conducted in newly build Halls of International Exhibition-cum-Convention Centre (IECC) at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, according to the ITPO release.

The fair has elicited over 600 participants from India and overseas, from countries like Afghanistan, Austria, Kyrgyzstan, Canada, Peru, UK and USA.

“ITPO has extended its support to the industry in terms of discounted rates of 45 per cent on participation charges of previous edition,” the release said.

The trade organisation has also extended its appeal to all stakeholders to adhere to the guidelines of the Government on health, immunity and safety during the event.

This annual B2B event is being organised with the support of the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, APEDA, and apex industry associations like ARCHII, Hotel and Restaurant Equipment Manufacturers Association of India (HOTREMAI), All India Food Processors Association (AIFPA), Food and Hospitality Support Association of India (FHSAI), Federation of Indian Food and Hospitality Industry (FIFHI) and Forum of Indian Food Importers (FIFI), as per the ITPO release.

The display profile for the fair is segregated into different categories in different halls in Pragati Maidan. “To make ‘AAHAR 2021’ more meaningful, there will be industry related seminars and an exclusive ‘MICE Industry Unity Conclave’ is scheduled to be held during the currency of the fair,” ITPO said.

This year, a large number of trade visitors are expected to visit the fair. These include top rank of the hotel and hospitality industry including CEOs, General Managers, Executive Chefs, Executive House Keepers, Purchase Managers, F&B Managers etc.

Besides, senior representatives from Centre and State government, catering industry and academic institutions, hotel management professionals will also visit the fair.

Apart from getting an insight about the new initiatives, reforms and schemes of the government to the food and hospitality industry.

The fair also offers an ideal platform to the business fraternity to experience the latest trend, tastes and technologies, expand networking with the leading suppliers and manufacturers, connecting with decision makers, trade partners and distributors, and meet the valued buyers from around the world.

Furthermore, to unveil India’s export potential, the fair assumes tremendous significance especially when there is a focus of the Union Government to promote agri-community as well as Meeting, Incentive, Conference and Exhibition (MICE) sector which complements the hospitality segment, the release added.
