Srinagar, July 30 (NVI): The Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) spokesperson Shujada Bashir, has expressed deep concern over the escalating violence in the Jammu region, where recent attacks and encounters have led to the tragic loss of soldiers’ lives.
Bashir emphasized the urgent need for the central government to address this situation effectively to ensure the safety and security of the region’s residents and the armed forces.
Bashir highlighted the increasing frequency of terrorist activities in the Jammu region, which has resulted in a significant number of casualties among the security forces.
She condemned the attacks and expressed solidarity with the families of the fallen soldiers, acknowledging their sacrifices for the nation.
Bashir also stressed the importance of restoring democratic processes in Jammu and Kashmir, urging the central government to conduct assembly elections as soon as possible.
She argued that the lack of an elected government has contributed to the deteriorating security situation and that a democratically elected leadership is essential for addressing the issues faced by the region effectively.
The DPAP spokesperson called for a comprehensive strategy to combat terrorism and ensure peace and stability in the region.
